African-American Intercultural Marketing Services (A.A.I.M.S.) has been developed as an Import/Export venture and operates in the capacity of a Manufacturers’/ Craftsmen’s Representative Agency. A.A.I.M.S. both imports crafts and agricultural products from Africa and exports necessary agricultural equipment, fertilizers, and products to Africa.

Currently there are only a few individuals/companies dealing exclusively in the import of African clothing, crafts, and giftware. Most of these are offering reproductions based on original designs rather than importing directly from the craftsmen themselves. A.A.I.M.S. specializes in original African clothing, crafts, and giftware.

Potential exists for building the economy of those nations by increasing the demand for African goods in the international marketplace and conversely by increasing the purchasing power of those nations for goods produced in the United States and elsewhere. It is for this purpose that we, the founding members of A.A.I.M.S. have come together.
